Business Evolution is Confusing.

I made some updates to The Value Filter which have confused some of you.
It was never my intention to confuse, upset or alienate anyone, and yet it often happens as things evolve. I'm going to try and explain what happened, what is happening, and where we go from here.
The Value Filter has been at the heart of what I do, who I am and what I share with you all since the beginning of my life as a coach and facilitator. For a long time I undervalued myself and in turn undervalued The Value Filter. Because it came to me easily, I made the assumption that it wasn't valuable. The truth is that it is unlike what anyone else is sharing and it makes hugely complex concepts practical and easy. (This is my 5/2 at work.)
Some context:
- I am a 5/2 Mani Gen with a Passive Mountains environment and LAX of Distraction. With space and grace I can and do teach practical simple solutions that it would take others years to find.
- 70% of businesses do not survive the 10 year mark. Technically, mine is one of those in the 70% that didn't make it, but I've been self employed my whole life, and I am really good at evolving, however uncomfortable. My business is only here, and has only survived because I have evolved and been hella creative in that process.
- I have a predisposition to over-give to the point of my own detriment and destruction.
- I am nearly 45 and have LIVED a full and expansive life, I've taken risks and gone all in. It is with all those adventures in mind that I tell you I am experiencing some of the most full on Astrological personal transits possible, which are playing out physically, intellectually emotionally, and spiritually right now. I can no longer undervalue myself or my work.
- It's okay if you are upset by my changing things, but please check if you are confused or just reacting from scarcity.
First I guess I better start with "What is The Value Filter?"
The Value Filter is a self-trust tool. It is designed to take you from feelings of 'chaos & overwhelm' to being 'clear, calm and in control'
The Value Filter was the first thing I created for myself and then shared in my business. It was created from everything I had learned from my lived experience and from being behind the scenes with some of the best teachers and leaders in the world. I created it in 2014 after successfully thriving through my first burnout and breakdown.

Level One: 3D
I first shared this level of The Value Filter in my book 'Misfit to Maven: from argh to ahhh' in 2014.
It is also shared in 'The Manual of Me®' (in a different way)
This level is akin to the traditional NLP based Values elicitation that most people teach / learn - except that I link it to:
- The Incarnation intentions
- Your purpose in life
AND unlike traditional values work, you're also given everything you need to actually implement this information, so that you are living your values rather than aspiring to them and turning it from knowledge into wisdom.
This level alone is valued at £444
Level Two: 5D
I developed this next level over 5 years between 2018 and 2023.
When I first created The Value Filter I hypothesised that our values were linked to our different parts; our yin and yang. This was later backed up by science (head, heart and gut brain) when I became an mBit coach in 2018.
In my personal enquiry and with my 1:1 clients I then started exploring the embodiment of frequency and polarity in more depth.
I added 'static' and 'dynamic' to the frame and when I did my mBit Master Coach qualification for the first time in 2019 it became clear that my intuition was once again backed up by science.
At the 5D level I add in the pelvic brain and the autonomic nervous system as intelligences from which the The Value Filter draws wisdom.
This level alone is valued at £444
These parts combined are plenty, and embodying them will
- Bring you back to yourself
- Align you to your Authority
- Show you what to trust and what to tune out
- Heal your issues with codependency or compromised boundaries.
- Bring you out of your head and into your body - allowing you to integrate your body-mind bringing your leaked chi/ life-force back online and giving you back time, and increased energy.
- Show you how to integrate your masculine and feminine in a healthy way.
- Increase your emotional intelligence and with it your mental health
- Improve your emotional set point so that you are happier, more fulfilled and living your purpose.
These two layers together should be £888, but for many years in an attempt to be generous I gave them away or sold them for much less. All this really did was undermine their value.
Often people would not start, or finish their Value Filter experiment choosing instead to be captivated by other coaches, other offers or other less 'simple' tools in favour of something more complicated or costly -which was actually a distraction.
Level Three: 7D
The 'Merkabah' level of The Value Filter has always been hidden in plain sight. It could be found in the subtle layers of what was between 2014 and 2020, my signature program 'Misfit to Maven: The Fundamentals'.
'Your Chariot' is only found when you really personalise The Value Filter by living it - it was always present in my 1:1 work, in my retreats and VIP days, and it is what spurred me to create Embody Your Design.
You can unlock 7D for yourself, all you have to do is actually LIVE your Value Filter - use it to find your shadows; meet and integrate them.
When I unlocked the 7D layer of The Value Filter for myself which combines archetypes, shadow work, and links to the Activation Sequence / Incarnation Cross it became clear that I needed to change the way I positioned and offered The Value Filter.
I could no longer avoid the places I have been undervaluing myself.
My own 7D embodiment means that while I am still honouring my values, these look different than they once did - with me taking less responsibility for your results personally, but continuing to walk my talk and offer structure that holds and supports you to take the correct levels of responsibility for yourself.

Testing times, and the future of business.
This is not the first time that I have changed things up and been met with challenge, upset, confusion, conflict etc
It's part of being a Mani Gen, a business owner, and a 5 line, but to be honest the projection, entitlement, and 'feedback' is a little rude. It still holds the potential to pull me out of alignment and into my not-self centres. But I ride my emotional wave and use my Value Filter to navigate.
It takes a lot to stay in equanimity, and doing so is part of being a mature, embodied human. Each reaction and response offers us a choice and an opportunity to be in right relationship with ourselves and each other.
Business is not complicated; humans are.
I've been self employed, a freelancer, a contractor, a business owner and an entrepreneur over the last 30 years.
No, they are not the same thing. It's one of the things that I wish more people would speak about.
Running a business comes with a contractual obligation to make a profit. We're at a funny time in history where one paradigm is dying but the next isn't fully borne yet and as someone who has always walked between worlds an spaces its an interesting line to walk. Where success must be defined both personally; for soul satisfaction, and personal fulfilment, but success must also comply with societal norms / laws.
For many years, I have trodden a fine line of 'both / and' - letting my vocation lead, while also doing my best to run a business as the vehicle for that vocation.
A business delivers products or services to people who want to pay for them, and turns a profit doing so.
In order for that to happen the business must develop products or services that meet their buyers needs or desires, and deliver them in a way pays for all its expenses, fiscal and legal obligations and is sustainable on all planes.
It must also let people know that it exists and meet its administrative and reporting duties.
In all the years that I have been self employed I have always put the work, art and people before profit and whilst I will always be an artist first and an entrepreneur second, I have to be able to pay myself, my support team, meet our obligations and navigate the team taking on more responsibility so that I have the space and grace to deliver my best.
As the world evolves, humanity evolves, business evolves and that means all businesses, their offers and how they deliver them also need to evolve.
Everyone is doing it right now. (Or they'll become extinct)
To me that doesn't just mean 'automate it' or 'let chat gpt do it' - to me it means making decsions about what I really value - I value intimacy, energy, long term reciprocity and imperfect messy humanity and so thats where I'll be investing my time, energy and effort.
BUT, future proofing and building out a new business model, while servicing the old one, while navigating the ever more stressful stresses of the world, massive hormonal fluctuations, and a very small team who are all navigating the same is not easy.
It's the thing that ends a lot of businesses, or has them cutting corners on delivery.
Delivery is the whole point of my business for me. I do not care much for the pieces around it. If I could just have a constant stream of ideal inquiries without having to split my attention or effort to all the other pieces of being a business owner, I would.
In fact, for the last 4 years, since the end of my last business as I started again from scratch with a broken heart I have been really aware of a desire to succeed in building something that serves me as well as it serves my clients.
This intention has been at the forefront, but at times has come second to survival.
Old patterns of settling for putting myself second have risen and whispered "when will you learn" at me.
I walk my talk always, and I take part fully in each and every round of Embody Your Design and over the last three rounds, as I have embodied the 7D level of my Value Filter its become clear that facing and embracing this shadow is 'do or die'.
So, whilst I may not have communicated the price increases and structural changes as eloquently as potentially possible - I am proud of myself for what I am navigating and holding.
I am proud of myself for sticking with the discomfort of expansion with grace and maturity.
For meeting the trials and storms with an open heart. For leading myself, my team and my clients with tenderness and humanity.
At this point, there are many more changes to come, and more opportunities for me to practice communicating and being supported to do so by my inner circle.
