How I fell in love with myself
How I went from 🤮 at the sight of myself in the mirror to baring my 🍑& 🍈🍈’s on the internet
AKA how I used my expertise in Numerology, Human Design, Astrology & Somatics to go from 🤮 at the sight of myself in the mirror to feeling s🍳xy AF every day!
I want to make it clear that I am not hating on any version of my body and this is not a weight loss ‘before’ and ‘after’
This is about alignment, about insides and outsides matching, about safety, intimacy and soul contracts...
AND, as a Soul 5 - My body has been a challenge to me for most of my life.
If you’ve read my book ‘Misfit to Maven’ you’ll know that my body became an ‘easy’ scapegoat for everything.
One of the reasons that I LOVE Numerology is that it gives us our Kismet Codes in a really simple format.
Our Soul number is the key to peace and connection to soul / inner dimension.
I am a Soul 5 - The frequency of 5 is alchemy, the teacher, the physical body, flexibility, adventure, the throat.
Our Soul number is our soul contract in very simple term - When you want to understand what is truly important to someone look to their Soul.
This means that I had to admit it was important, I had to become my own teacher (and stop outsourcing or making others the authority on my body) I had to heal my throat (for me my thyroid) and start really expressing my emotions
I could go into so much more (about my Sun and North node in Leo (Associated with the 5th House of pleasure and creativity.. and my Path # is 3)
Astrologically, my BIG 3 are all FIRE
This meant to heal I needed to make friends with my fire.
I did the work that had me shift from seeing my FIRE as dangerous, or too much - to being the heart of a community, where stories and told and meals made. Its life force, warmth, drive and alchemical magic!
In Human Design, my profile is a 5/2
All my 5 line friends will know what I mean when I say that with the eloquent speaking voice and the gift of being a natural teacher, come the PROJECTIONS, and ‘pedestaling’ where people make you their saviour, hero and later their villian.
I did the work and went through many 5 line initiations that had me own my remit, boundaries and know and communicate where I ‘pick people up’, where I ‘drop them off’ - I am now clear on what I am and am not, and use my Authority to make decsions about what I say YES to, so that I don’t end up in the projection field (and I have relinquished any attachment to being loved or hated)
In Numerology, my Karma or Mastery number is 7 - also about projections, boundaries, holding your own identity, turning your LIGHT on and off to be seen or unseen - its about fluidly facilitating the architecture of light around and in-between us all.
The 7th Energy body is the Aura, and Human Design is the science of the Aura, so mastering the energetics of my design and understanding the electromagnetics of our Aura was a great way to Master my Karma, or my 7
In Human Design, I have a OPEN G - Centre - this gives me the abilty to be a chameleon, and see all possible directions, but can leave me open to assuming or taking on others identities and feeling unlovable or unworthy and overriding my boundaries as a result
Rather than accumulating more and more knowledge about all of these modalities (and others) - I chose to turn my knowledge into WISDOM, by implementing it. By EMBODYING it - by BEING it, feeling it in my body rather than thinking it and theorising it, actually LIVING it.
In 'Unseen Numerology' I am an Embodiment 7 - so, yeah, this makes sense too! (Use your strengths to overcome your challenges)
Getting messy, making mistakes, embracing my shadows, letting people see my vulnerabilities, and flaws. As well as letting people also see my MAGIC and allowing myself to be THE BEST at things, allowing myself to WIN
Slowly, slowly, rather than it being ME (my head) and MY BODY (as a separate thing) - I made friends with my body. I treated it as a sacred relationship. By getting curious like I would with a new lover, I fell in love with her!! I allowed her to lead me, I made amends for the past and I chose to trust her.
I followed the threads in the maps of my Human Design, Numerology, Astrology, and worked with the Archetypes and with the wisdom of my multiple brains and the energy of each centre. I choose to surrender, and not be overwhelmed by everything I felt, but breathe and be with it all.
As I continued my journey rather than becoming dogmatic about any one system or philosophy, I realised that they were all saying the same things in different ways. My Numerology, my Astrology chart in Placidus and in Whole Sign, my mBIt nics and nibs, my Human Design - all spoke to my range, depth and ‘contrary’ nature.
They all asked me to work on honouring my boundaries, owning and fully expressing my magic and gifts in order to receive the rewards and riches of intimacy and resource l sought.
