As a long time student of the esoteric and artisan I feel frustrated, resentful and a little jaded.
I struggle with the fact that ‘fashion priestesses’, ‘five minute medicine women’ and ‘AI artists’ are serving the serious and sacred that I have sacrificed pieces of my soul for.
I am afraid that ‘artificial intelligence’ is making people even less able to deal with depth, or able to think critically.
I worry that commitment to craftsmanship, art, embodiment, integration and the wisdom that comes from living and experiencing insight for oneself on one's journey are being lost.
I’m scared we’re all moving so fast, that we can’t see the magic in the mundane anymore
