but instead of saying “Hey, that guy is naked”
they coo along with the crowd and pretend like the farce is real.
Profound teachings are being served up as unintegrated sound bites.
Misleading pieces of powerful wisdom regurgitated unintelligible.
Nuanced insight, turned caricature by the masses.
As a long time student of the esoteric and artisan
I feel frustrated, resentful and disappointed
and I bet you do too.
I struggle with the fact that ‘fashion priestesses’, ‘five minute medicine women’ and ‘AI artists’ are serving the serious and sacred that I have sacrificed pieces of my soul for.
I am afraid that ‘artificial intelligence’ is making people even less able to deal with depth, or able to think critically.
I worry that commitment to craftsmanship, art, embodiment, integration and the wisdom that comes from living and experiencing insight for oneself on one's journey are being lost.
